Paintings > Large Format Paintings

Paintings that are of a large size. For extra large pieces I usually do
diptychs or triptychs so that they are manageable to handle in a gallery.
For example 'Ecola Panorama' is painted on three canvases that together form a triptych that is a horizontal length of 72". Some of my large paintings are vertical. I particularly enjoy painting on pieces that stretch the limits of my Studio ceiling! A more moderate size I often use is 36" x 48" which nicely accommodates a large wall. The landscape that I am painting usually dictates the size chosen.

An unusually unobstructed view of a long stretch of the North Umpqua river.
